At Le Petit Musée in Ho Chi Minh City, I taught studio art to children aged 3-8. I also wrote the center’s lesson-planning and assessment system: lesson templates for three age bands, an entry placement assessment, and a pre/post course outcome check, drawing on the National Core Arts Standards and Project Zero’s Studio Habits of Mind.

I teach the process explicitly and leave the product to the student. I’m bilingual in English and Vietnamese, with experience supporting English learners and multilingual families.
